Original painting by artist Chloë Holt RCA FRSA.
Oil, dammar and gesso on board in hand painted antique frame.
Part of the Hunmanby Gap series, North Yorkshire. The dramatic high cliffs of dark clay give what to spectacular seas and massive skies. Facing south towards Flamborough Head, the sandy beaches are studded with giant almost black eroded concrete forms from the Second World War which the sea and fast moving tides are slowly disintegrating and reclaiming to nature. The tides are fast and unpredictable but the place has a serenity and calm.
Sizes include frame.
