Steinunn - Iceland's most famous sculptor - has been working on figurative sculpture for almost 40 years. Her figures are androgynous symbols of humanity referencing themes of spirituality and physicality. Steinunn is well known for her City of Hull, UK commission for the iconic sculpture sister statues 'Voyage' overlooking the Humber estuary at Victoria Pier and back between Vik in Iceland.
Steinunn exhibits Internationally across the Globe from: the Plaza, NYC; Reykjavik City centre; Copenhagen Airport and Mission Hill Vineyard, Canada.
