A George II English Grotto Chair in the Manner of William Kent

A wonderful example of an early 18th Century ebonised George II Grotto chair in the manner of William Kent. The back is a carved pierced-scallop shell, the seat a mirroring shell shaped. Beautifully detailed and carved with a great patina and look.
