An incredibly beautiful early to mid 1600s Flemish Tapestry. Depicting a trio of female figures sharing fruits and wine from a golden ‘oniochoe’ (or wine jug) within a forested landscape with abundant foliage and fauna. The tapestry is full symbolism and metaphor, and was probably part of a much larger tapestry originally. Made from wool and silk threads.
