A rare and early 18th Century pierced sheet iron pendant “Tumbler” lantern. The beautiful thick aqua glass body banded in sheet iron, encloses a removable original candle holder with crimped drip pan. The lantern is topped by a decorated perforated pierced sheet metal pediment and hangs from a looped strap handle. Provenance and labelled from the renowned folk art collector Graham Cutts Private Collection.
