A beautifully verdigris Armillary Sundial upon a baluster form classical pedestal c. Mid 20th Century.
The sundial consists of the sweeping delicate form of the metal Armillary holding a Roman numeral hour band inside the celestial equator ring. Striking through the centre is a verdigris patinated arrow with stylised feather and point.
The Armillary is paired with an elegant baluster form crowned with a Classical column top. The bulbous part is adorned with swags of fruits and flowers. Created from composite stone.
The piece would make a wonderful statement, or focal piece in your garden.
