"A group of once-rare and precious lemons sat within a crumpled brown paper bag at the edge of my studio table. They emerge from shadows cast by the foot of the huge lichen covered French earthernware Frejús jar. They are almost salt encrusted, they emerge as a precious object revealed hiding in dunes of sand."
