A delightfully Classically proportioned and influenced English Georgian Lead Planter embellished with four lions masks. c.1820
Crafted from lead which has developed a wonderful patination over time. The lions masks are prominently placed, symbolising strength and courage - a popular motif in Georgian decorative arts. The rim of the vase is gadrooned with stepped foot.
