A striking Flemish red veneered tortoiseshell and ebonised crucifix and carved fruitwood Corpus Christi from the 18th Century. With ripple-moulded ebonised details on the cross and stand and a delicate yet beautifully carved fruitwood rendition of Christ (Corpus Christi), beneath the banner inscribed INRI. This would look wonderful as a contemplative piece in your home or private chapel but also as a stand alone work of art in your living space. Condition and wear appropriate with age.
