A monumental in scale composite stone Tazza Urn Fountain Mid 20th Century.
The sectional pedestal holds a wide lobed edged saucer shaped bowl upon a classical socle. Opulent, undulating scalloped ridges form the underside - inspired by the formation seen within a natural clam shells’ layers.
The grand urn upon its pedestal would make a beautiful gently cascading fountain utilising the central lead pipe.
It could additionally be transformed into an huge planter and equally used as an expressive centrepiece in a planting scheme adding pleasing symmetry and scale.
