A fabulous deeply carved striated and variegated coloured marble wall fountain head frieze created in Italy in the Early 20th Century.

Featuring the head of a satyr or Bacchus the God of Wine, surrounded by acanthus leaves and floral garlands, shell shapes and classical swirls.
