A finely rendered 18th-century Northern Italian oil painting of an Aristocrat or Princess.
The painting is worn to a darkly mysterious patination, yet the depiction of her face shows exceptional skill and attention to detail. Interestingly, the painting is housed in its original papier-mâché frame Bolognese frame, a testament to the craftsmanship of the era.
