A dramatic Mid-20th Century life scale statue of Neptune, the Roman God of the Sea. Neptune grasps a dolphin, probably ‘Delphinus’ the dolphin King - whose tail and fins wrap around his legs. Made from composite stone, including his plinth, both have a wonderful patina and sharp casting.
