A serene and timeless marble hand-carved Maitreya Buddha votive statue with two attendants and guardian dogs of Foo. This solid marble effigy of Buddha was likely in a private shrine or special Buddhist garden. Maitreya is a bodhisattva who will appear on Earth in the future, achieve complete enlightenment and teach pure ‘dharma‘.
