A pair of elegant French cast iron urns c.1880 on late 20th Century composite stone plinths.
These classically inspired pieces are heavy with ornamentation. Having lobed bodies. Their rims decorated with stylised acanthus leaves. With a rising fluted circular foot and square raised base standing on complimentary composite stone plinths with wreath motif to each side.
The urns retaining their original crusty flaky paint, and yellow ochre lichens giving them a perfect patination ready to blend seamlessly into your antique garden. (Urn height 37cm)
