Pair of French Neo-Gothic Altar Candelabra c.1860

A stunning pair of French Neo-Gothic Altar Candelabra. C.1860
With traces of original gilding, enamelling and paint work. Made from spelter, copper and bronze.
Each candelabra holds seven candles.
They are beautifully detailed with foliage and flowers and gothic crosses. The central arms are decorated with ivy leaves and three buttercups on stems, giving them a naturalistic Arts & Crafts and Gothic feeling.
These would make a superb pair of dining table or console table candelabra.
