A charming polychromed Putto figure. c.1680. The dancing naked Putto is depicted with one hand raised and the other cupped. Imagined and created with abundant flowing locks and a jovial expression with rosebud lips. This fine and larger than usual example of a late 17th Century Putto is exquisitely carved and has a large amount of original flesh coloured polychrome adorning his wooden body. Later mounted on a rustic block.
