A wonderfully primitive and striking Scandinavian carving of a Stag’s head. c.1840 Incorporating real antlers, mounted on a wall plaque. This piece exudes charm, it’s naive sweet features are painted in dusty toned ox-blood red with beautiful time-worn patination. It’s fanned antlers are faded to a delicate sun-bleached grey.
