A rare complete set of five volumes of “Familiar Garden Flowers”, Figured by Edward Hulme and Described by Shirley Hibberd.
Published in 1907 by Cassell and Company Ltd, each volume having forty wonderful colour plates, two hundred in total.
Frederick Edward Hulme was known as a teacher and an amateur botanist. He was the Professor of Freehand and Geometrical Drawing at King's College London from 1886. James Shirley Hibberd was one of the most popular and successful gardening writers of the Victorian era.
