A rare run of matching classical grand scale cast iron French Campana garden urns. c.1870
Having elegant proportions with fluted sides and lozenge details around their rims.
The heavyweight cast iron urns have very deep planting wells make these idea for larger topiary or smaller trees.
Overpainted many times over their lifetime, the final colour is a ‘Downpipe’ dark grey with inside layers of turquoise. Timeworn with a great patination making them ideal to blend into a historical or modern garden bringing scale and drama through symmetry.
