This delightful and mischievous mid-20th century composite stone statue depicts the God Pan.
Inspired by Greek mythology, Pan is the God of the wild and folk music, shown here playing his signature panpipe. Draped over his shoulder is a lion pelt, symbolising his connection to nature and the wilderness.
The composite stone statue has fine casting detail and spattering of lichen covering the weathered surface, giving a classic charm that is ready to blend into any outdoor space or garden setting.
